Street Anísio Azevedo, city of Aracaju, Sergipe, Brazil, november 29th 2019 at 5:56 PM. This is a Picture of the construction of a sewer plumbing. Recently the city had been having problems with the sewer system at this street so the government is building a new one. The materials used in this kind of construction in Brazil are usually the traditional ones (cement, steel and stones), the plumbing in this case is made of concrete instead of plastic. The usage of imported materials in civil construction in Brazil is very uncommon, the country is self-suficient in the production of the main materials needed for civil construction. The globalization influence in the field of civil construction in Brazil is more impactful in terms of construction methods and academic research instead of the materials used.
