1.The dominant fossil fuel used in my country Lebanon according to the provided Sankey Diagram is Oil (8932 ktoe in 2017). 2. Oil is mainly used for Transport in Lebanon. 3. Since most of the fossil fuel in my country is used for transport, creating a more sustainable transport system is key. I would encourage the implementation of a public transport system and the use of green/electric cars which are lacking in Lebanon to replace the use of private individual cars. I would encourage people to buy/use an electric car using subsidies and will put more taxes for people who wants to continue using cars with fossil fuels. I would also ensure the creation of mixed-use communities through appropriate land-use planning to provide living, working and playing within the same place so that people are less dependent on the use of transport. These ideas would ensure the improvement of the sources and the consumption of energy in Lebanon.
