Compulsory Exercise 3 Energy Flows 1. Dominant fossil fuels in the United States are Petroleum, Natural Gas, and Coal 2. The fossil fuels in the United States are mainly used for Transportation, Industrial, Residential and Commercials, and Electric Power 3. My policy is Clean Power Policy. This includes the low energy buldings, buildings integrated renewable energy, efficient energy utilization, minimization of energy demand, and the use of renewable energy such as solar, wind, hydro, geothermal, and biomass. The United States currently relies heavily on coal, oil, and natural gas for its energy. Fossil fuels are nonrenewable, that is they draw on finite resources that will eventually dwindle, becoming too expensive or too environmentally damaging to retrieve. In contrast, renewable energy resources are constantly replenished and will never run out. The Clean Power policy will create tens of thousands of renewable energy jobs added by 2040. This will reduce power sector emissions and increase renewable energy by 2030. It will also bring benefits in public health and climate. The policy will increase consumer savings. Sustainable energy powers opportunity. It grows economies.It lights up homes, schools and hospitals. It paves path out of poverty to greater prosperity for all.
