Commercial Bank of Ethiopia is the state owned bank served in the sector for the last 76 years. The Head Quarter (HQ) of the Commercial Bank of Ethiopia (Under Construction) is a USD 266,000,000 (Two hundred and Sixty six Million) Project designed and under construction (Turnkey) by the China State Construction Engineering Corporation, CSCEC). The HQ has a total of 150,000Sq meters of floor area for the main office services of the bank, Commercial, rental offices, car parking and revolving restaurant at the top floor. The B5+G+46 (198meters high) building is basically constructed (to be constructed) using Reinforced Concrete as a material for structural components, hollow concrete blocks (HBC) as partitions, ceramic and precious stones (such as Marble, Granite,…) as wall and floor finishing and curtain wall. The structural and finishing material are either fully or the plants producing these materials are imported.
