The material used in this residential building are concrete, glass , steel and aluminium panels. Concrete is being manufactured in lebanon but all other materials are being imported. Material used in the Lebanese Vernacular Architecture are stone and wood. I think we need to find a sustainable material as a replacement for reinforced concrete in the country. Bamboo is not a local tree in lebanon, Pine and cedar trees should be studied.Lebanese cedar is known for having excellent climate resilient qualities.
