The picture shows how energy(electricity) forms a crucial dimension of sustainable urban systems in human habitat. It is an urban area in south Delhi where initially the dependence of infrastructure on electricity was not well analysed. As a result over a period of time external measure had to be adopted to fulfill the needs of the users. this resulted in high voltage wires installed near to human habitat and exposed to rain. This makes them risky and also disturbs the eye of the viewer which could otherwise be on the well designed building.
