Based on the International Energy Agency(IEA) reports of the Sankey Diagrams till the year 2013 - ⦁ The dominant Fossil fuel contributors are Coal ,Oil and Bio/waste productions. I) Oil is basically used in refineries,Power stations and about 150 mtoe is consumed in transportaion sector. II) About 229 mtoe of coal is used in power stations and the rest is consumed by the industry. III)Around 6.6 mtoe is used for other transformations and around 30 mtoe is taken up by the industry and the rest is use by other sources. For the improving the environmental quality, following policy is proposed - I)Increase the alternative source of energy productions like solar energy, photovoltaics and Nuclear energy. II) The production of energy by solar can be benefical at local level.Major energy production of energy can be tapped from sun during Summer and can be used later. III) India has many rivers including Brahmaputra, Kaveri, Ganga etc, where in number of hydroelectricity dams can be tapped for energy storage and production. IV) Providing adequate shade in the facade to cool the building temperature and also to encourage the use if renewable sources for day to day use of energy
