The most important stock and flows of my city include people, material and capital. Being an industrial city, sialkot heavily relies on its import and exports of leather products, surgical instruments and sports goods that are manufactured in local industries and exported globally. A large number of people flow in to the city from the outskirt villages to work in the industries every day. They commute to and fro Sialkot on a daily basis. These people who come into the city from the outside and leave the city by evening can be characterized as flows of the people. In this scenario, one major other flow is the flow of material. Raw materials as stocks are transported into the industry, processed and manufactured into products that are then exported out of the city into foreign countries. Raw materials as stocks become products as flows. In return, there is an influx of capital that is generated and flows into the city.
