My plan for an app would be concerning traffic speeds and shade conditions. Once in the car, the app, titled "CoolTravels," would activate sensors for direct light detection through the camera, temperature (variable in significance, if A/C is being used), and speed detection through satellite monitoring, date and time of day. The purpose would be to evaluate how much of a given route has shade (phone app would be activated before driving the car, and placed on a hookup near the dashboard console or passenger seat), how long it takes to reach the destination to approximate traffic (the database where data is collected compiles info by date and time), and what the temperature is (questions like A/C would be answered before or after travel). Then the route would be rated by the driver/passenger through a few questions. The objective is to determine whether or not planting trees or large shade providing shrubs would benefit drivers/passengers on the route for the local government.
