The energy consumption in india has grew by 7.9% in 2018. And with increasing population and increasing demand this consumption is also going to increase. In india 44% of fossil fuel energy is produced by coal,it is the most, following biomass and petroleum with 23% each energy production. India, being a developing country is invensting a lot of energy in infrastructure, housing and trasportation. Industries are consuming major portion for the production of goods, services, etc. As energy cannot be destroyed and can only be changed from one form to another. This consumed energy of industries throws back the energy in form of hamful gases, liquids etc. Second most consumer of energy is transportation. Amd transporation means emits co2 in excess. These two major sectors contribute maximum to air pollution. Co2 emmision causes temperature increase, health problems and discomfort. In order to control co2 emmision India is adopting CNG fuel for transportation, limited vehicle access on road, awareness in public for using public transport, carpool etc. Also planting trees is one more way the country is trying to control co2 in air.
