The so-called Middle of the World city is located north of Quito, the photo was taken in 2011 from one of the viewpoints. There is a small town with second order roads, houses, hotels, crops and livestock, and in the background two mountains. Bordering a tourist area, this place has become dependent on both electricity and access roads.
