My top five criteria for livability are safety, environment, infrastructure, sanitation, and healthcare. However, my main reasons for choosing where I live now are job opportunity, safety, convenience, transportation, and environment. Compared to my top five criteria, my current residence scores 80%. It has good facilities, it is safe, in a clean and quiet neighborhood, and close to public transportation. The city, on the other hand, scores 70%. There are some safety and sanitation issues, but overall a good place to live in. If given a chance, I would probably choose to live either in Berlin, Zurich, or Singapore. These places have clean environment, are safe, with efficient health and social services, are multicultural with high international connectivity, and very good infrastructure.
