The most important stocks and flows in Sharjah is vehicles, water and people. Most people that live here in Sharjah do not work in the same city, they work in the neighboring city which is Dubai. This area is close to Dubai with a 10 minute ride with car to the city. They live here because the rent is cheaper with the same quality of residential buildings in Dubai. Plus each family have at least 2 to 3 private cars that they own, therefore the city is filled with parking spaces for vehicles as this is the main transportation for them to work and not public transportation. The flow of cars in the morning leaving to work and evening coming back from work shows people using the roads leading to Dubai. Also the water that the residential buildings are in front of is the architecture of the city. Most buildings are located by the shore in the United Arab Emirates. The country's population is higher in density beside the water, therefore the livability is higher in these areas and water is the main factor for it.
