The image is my design for previous CE. It is just reference here. 1. In China, there is no existing Citizen Design Science projects in urban design and urban planning in my country. Planning decisions are made by government and professionals. People always criticize some new projects and sometimes it leads to conflict about the interest. 2. If I work for government, I will ask professionals to develop an city app to collect information and citizen’s ideas and also set number of sensors and monitors to cover this neighborhood. The factors of the app include: 1) Brightness of light 2) Monitoring 3) Noise level（To indicate the degree of isolated/ vacant/ deserted place.) 4) Frequent crime types in the area. 5) Degree of dangerous 6) Citizen’s suggestion about the improvement of the public spaces.(citizen could redesign this area by this app, and can attach their comments.) 3. Guidelines: 1) It should be easy to access. 2) It should be convenient for people of all ages. 3) Offering guidance and support. 4) Encouraging participation. 5) Ensuring conclusion of every class. 6) Making sure responding comments in order to encourage future participation. 7) Ensuring the result is sustainable, livability, responsive and impartial.
