Uploaded on 2019-08-14 by Tatiani Amadeu de Freitas
Step 1- visible information: this photo shows a park located in São Paulo. We can notice residential buildings around the park, the vegetation in the park (grass and trees), lights, bike path and people. Step 2- invisible information: we can extract out of this photo the connection between the park and the residential buildings: datas, activities, schedules, patterns of use and flows of inhabitants. Also we can make invisible/visible the flows of mobility, how do people arrive there? Cars, on foot, by subway, by train... Those patterns can notice through data around the neighborhood. Step 3- become knowledge: From data, stocks and flows on how people arrive at the park, we can combinated information, experiences about the área turning into architectural knowledge. Understanding the patterns of people is possible to make a architectural model, that can help architects to improve the urban mobility around the park. It’s possible create more bike path to the park and more public transportation lines for example.
