There are three possible routes, which I commute to between home and work. Walking the full distance would take 1 hour and 20 minutes and be a full distance of 6,3 km. Therefore walking between home and office is not an option. The route, which I take most often in summer, is route 2: Cycling the full distance. As I can not cycle the exact same path as I would take walking, this is 7,5 km (0,8 km more than walking). While this is a good option in summer, and has the highest satisfaction rate, it is mostly not possible between October and March. The second most common route is route 1, which consists of cycling to the nearest metro and then taking the metro. It is convenient, because it does not require me to change metro lines. Also, it only requires a short cycle and can be done even when it is raining. The most inconvenient route is route 3, which I take in winter or in heavy rain. The metro line 2 is usually more crowded and not as nice as line 1. Also, walking to the metro takes 10 minutes and is therefore very inconvenient.
