I am having trouble uploading a picture of a stock and flow. But the picture depicts a big pile of rubbish that accumulates in all Toronto transfer stations. Toronto is a population of about 5-6 million people when you count the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). They are garbage mountains and this is the end point of their flow. Although it is a highly unsustainable stock and flow system, it stills exists. The modern city consumes so much garbage and trash that it is scary. Where is all this ending up after being transferred? To the United States and then on to developing countries. It is disgusting and this stock and flow must be changed. It will be changed by the construction industry's new green technologies.
