I am sharing this photo that was taken by me of the flooring that I just replaced in my kitchen and living room. It is made out of bamboo and it looks spectacular. This grade came from Indonesia actually and I installed this type of flooring because of the water resistant properties that it carries. I have 3 kids and 5 animals in the house and that played a factor as well. It was easy to install and is very durable, no scratches like on a hard wood floor, water just pools on the surface and cleans up easily. The pattern flows very nicely as well. I finally choose it because of the sustainability properties as well and I strive to do my part to utilize those types of resources as they will benefit us all if we do.
