1.- I live in Antwerp and they are doing several things. But one of the CDS projects that I think is going to have a lot of impact is the redesign of the quay. They are rebuilding it so that it has more green spaces and contact with the water. This is going to improve the liveability of the city for sure. 2.- I would start by going to talk to the citizens of this neighbourhood to know what their ideas and impressions have. I would also collect a lot of data so I can make clear conclusions to decide how I could design this to make citizens happy and feel safe. 3.- Habitants have to have an active participatory role in the design process. New ways of public participatory planning through the new technologies. They have to be involved from the beginning of the process. Crowdsourcing is very important in the design process. They can contribute to the understanding of the city. They will provide also a lot of data for the design process.
