It is your task to create a new policy in order to improve the environmental friendly and sustainable sources and consumption of energy of your country. How would you do that? Think of how you can improve the sources and the consumption of energy. • In this exercise, you are allowed to write how you would do this, but we strongly encourage you to provide your ideas with self-taken photographs (see Notes) an/or self-made sketches. Softening: softening makes the soil absorb less heat. Afforestation: foresting or greening provides cooling. Ventilation: both regional wind flows and breezes provide cooling. Choice of materials: the heat absorption can be controlled by the choice of materials. Water: water has a cooling effect. I would also encourage even more the use of the bicycle.
