Five most livable cities are: 1. Sapporo 2. Siem Reap 3. Rotterdam 4. Toronto 5. Singapore Five characteristics making city livable: 1. Calm 2. Nature 3. Warm 4. Supporting infrastructure 5. Culture Currently, I'm living in Phnom Penh and I think it has not met my livable city requirements yet. 1. Calm: we should have a good public transportation to reduce the usage of personal cars. 2. Nature: We need more green space and public parks 3. Warm: geographically, Cambodia is located in hot and humid zone. So i think planting the trees along the road could help to reduce city temperature 4. Supporting infrastructure: it is not sufficient yet. we need more good road, good drainage system and side walk 5. Culture: Phnom Penh is rich in culture and history. this criteria satisfies me.
