Eiffel tower from Romania The other day, visiting Paris, I was wondering how was Eiffel tower built. To my surprise I learnt that although the parts were manufactured in France, actually just outside Paris itself - Levallois-Perret factory, but the cast iron and steel came all the way from Romania - Ghelar town and Resita, respectively. Voila, globalized economy already in the end of 19th century! Tomas
