FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"

This is a photo from last January 2019. It is a picture of a roundabout after a bit of snowfall. This was early in the morning so there are not a lot of cars around. However, two things that I can extract from this: 1. The urban space is not equally shared. The snow on the side shows how much space cars actually use as opposed to areas dedicated to pedestrians. 2. In the background, one can see the parked cars. I know studies have been made about how much time a car actually sits still, parked in a carpark or parking spot, and takes up space. This knowledge can be used to determine how to re-design urban space to be more pedestrian friendly (and thus also more resilient, resource-efficient, and cliamte-friendly), particularly in densely populated ones (Montrouge is one of them in France).
