Morelia: people, water and avocados. The state of Michoacán is famous for its fertile land and significant amount of water, but also for the great insecurity and lack of jobs. Morelia, the state capital, constantly receives people from different municipalities in search of opportunities, but the lack of work means that they migrate to other cities. The land and water products from the different municipalities flow through the state capital, generating a stock in Morelia before its next distribution point. Morelia is not a producer, its main activity is tourism, so the flows of people are constant on weekends that come to enjoy an old Spanish colonial city.
