1- The dominant fossil fuels mainly used in Qatar are Oil and Gas with a large amount going to exports but the rest is used domestically. 2- These dominant fossil fuels in Qatar are used for Exports mainly. Oil passes through refineries and is distributed to bunkers, industries, transportation and others. Gas provides power for own use, domestically and for the industries. 3- Concluding from the Sankey Diagram for Qatar, it is noticed that the two dominant fossil fuels mainly used are Oil and Gas, mostly exported, but yet used domestically in parallel. Major amount of the energy is used for transportation and cooling due to the extreme hot weather in this area. Therefore I would suggest using Insulation for all buildings in the construction field to reduce the vast use of cooling and also in parallel, promoting the use of public transportation and the new Metro Line in Qatar to reduce the energy used on roads and circulation.
