2. My city of residence is Port Blair, Andaman and Nicobar Islands, India. Port Blair is an Island on the Bay of Bengal It has tropical climate where min and max. temperatures are 27 degree celsius to 32 degree celsius. The island is very low on infrastructure and still developing therefore the effect of Urban heat Island is not as much as it can be seen in major developed cities. but for comparison slight difference can be in dn around the construction of site of airport as shown in the uploaded image. 3. Since the site of airport is less on vegetation as compared to other parts of the island therefore plantation of more tree and addition of green would help cool the surroundings. 4. Since as mentioned before port blair is still a developing town there is as such negligible effect of urban heat island.
