This is a Southern California Edison (SCE) Company building. Along with the Pacific Gas and Electric Company, they form the main electricity producers in California. There is INFORMATION architecture in how the energy infrastructure relies upon data intensive monitoring and regulation to meet energy demands, and there's information ARCHITECTURE in the construction of the building itself, and the physical layout of the cables and wires for the electric grid they service. Also, hydro power generated from the Lake Kaweah reservoir provides electricity to the region, although I'm not sure if SCE obtains electricity from that location, or from other stations along the Kaweah River.
