Close to river or lake for recreation 4. Low temperature 5. A large number of trees provide shades I am living in Piacenza, which has a convenient public transportation system to Milan and Bologna, not so many museums but a lot of churches. It is a city which is close to the Po River, without many trees in the old area. The temperature is not low. To transform the city to a more livable one, it has to make full use of the Po River for recreation and city cooling.
