In the Russian Federation, coal and natural gas are the two main types of fossil fuels used to generate electricity. Most of the electricity of the Russian Federation goes to the needs of industry and transport. If my job was to improve environmentally friendly and sustainable sources and energy consumption in my country, the first thing I would do was to start government subsidies for solar and wind energy.
