The Photo is taken at the construction site in Phnom Penh, Cambodia in March 2017. Since constructions in Cambodia has increased dramatically, the country spent some $502 million to import construction materials in the first half of the year 2018 as reported by National Bank of Cambodia. Most imported materials come from either China or Thailand or Vietnam. However, in the photo there's a worker working with light weight brick, which is imported from Thailand. Light weight brick is seen to be more advantageous than local red brick in terms of weight, shape, strength and the ease to work with. High demands of construction materials has attracted foreign investors to build the production line in the country, mainly cement and steel manufacturing.
