The vegetable and fruits stocks in the picture have been brought into the city, for selling by the farmer who comes into town (flow) and after this is sold will take money stock home outside the city (flow). The population in this area (stock), are known to go to work overseas long-term, and send (flow) money back to the families. They return after the employment and go to another job. There is new tourism areas in this area of the Philippines (new stocks of hotels and resorts) to which people travel (flow) as tourists for recreation, and will pay money (stock) and the tourists will leave. With road improvements in this area, the future will include improved tourism, economy allowing for less local communities to move away for income generation.
