Livability is a broad concept which entails a wide range of status. Different people may have different views on the weights of each individual criteria of livability. To me, I think housing, health, and opportunity are the most important three benchmarks to envaluate the livability of a certain city: housing is the basic need for people to live in a city, with a prohabitive housing price, it is hard to imagine that young people could focus on what they want to do without pressure. Health is another crucial standard, since a good health care will difinitely refine the living quality of the urban residents. Abundant opportunities can help appeal the most talented people from all over the world to thrive in this place. The photo shows the newly developed area in Nanjing, China, which is dynamic for its abundant opportunity to young people, nonetheless, its increasing housing costs makes it challenging to settle down in this city.
