The Apps: To identify the most beautiful but not the shortest route When one wants to find the route from A to B, GPS mapping apps can help identify the shortest route. The GPS works best for drivers, but pedestrians may want the quietest route or the most beautiful route instead. Hence, a new app will be designed to identify the most beautiful route between two locations rather than simply the shortest. Crowd-sourced opinions on the relative beauty of city locations are collected via a website to find out the beautiful city locations and to give a beauty score for each location. Consequently, after entering a start and end location, the app will search through every possible route, adding the beauty scores for each route and choosing the one that ranks the highest beauty score.
