This picture was taken in Berlin and shows the announcement of construction works at the tramway rails. When the rails are under construction, there is usually a replacement service with busses that follows almost the same route like the tramway. Since there is quite a difference in using a bus or a tramway, the time during which the tramway is under construction is usually characterized by full streets because more people use cars for their mobility. Besides, the replacement busses usually do not run as often as the tramways which sometimes leads to a substancial extension of the travel time and therefore to stress for the individual. Finally, this picture and the situation show how much we rely on well-working infrastructure like the public transportation service. Since it is used (almost) every day by many citizens, it is absolutely necessary that this use is as stressless as possible.
