This picture shows an indoor market in the center of Moscow, Russia. Many different kinds of fresh foods and drinks are offered on market stands. Besides, there are many restaurants that offer cuisines from all over the world. The picture shows that the market stands and restaurants are solidly installed and not put up every morning and dismantled in the evening. They are made of different materials such as wood, metal, stones and concrete. The teak wood comes from India and the stainless steel comes from China which is one of the largest stainless steel producers in the world and becoming more important. The sandstones are a special type of sandstones of the northern part of Germany. Finally, only concrete is produced in Russia. In this example, we can see that the parts that are necessary for the construction of a building usually do not only come from the state in which the building is located but from all over the world.
