A)We can highlight the fishing activity. The local cuisine deserves special attention, and the various dishes based on seafood stands out the Moqueca Capixaba, known internationally. The fishing activity receives special attention from the Government, since it contributes significantly to the economy of the city. B)Because it is a coastal city, we can highlight the regulation of the local microclimate and air quality. Despite the warm weather throughout the year, the winds from the sea contribute to soften the heat throughout the city. The beaches of Guarapari are famous for having a high level of natural radioactivity, originating from the so-called Monazytic Sands. C)We can find, in addition to the beaches, large mangroves, formed on the shores of Guarapari Bay. The mangrove is an important breeding area of several species of crustaceans and fish, important resources for the region, since they are used by the resident population as a source of food and income. D)Guarapari is considered the main tourist city of Espírito Santo, attracting several tourists from all over the world thanks to its natural beauties. With more than 30 beaches and good hotel chain, it attracts thousands of tourists in the summer.
