Landfill is a key way to handle waste and rubbish in Hong Kong. Waste was initially a kind of flows. However, after burying waste beneath the land-fill sites, waste turns from flows to stocks. Hope recycling and reuse will slow down the increase in waste stocks, and new technology will be able to turn the waste stocks to flows to useful substances.
