The three important stocks and flows which I believe are most prominent in my city are- \ 1)Food 2)Density 3)Construction workers 1)food- Food is a flow in my city as most of the produce is brought from outskirts, Agricultural lands are abundant in the outskirts and from there it is brought into the city.In the city, food becomes a stock, as it is stored before being sold. 2)Density- Density is a stock in my city, there are certain areas in my city which have high density of population when compared to other areas.This areas have been highly populated from a long time and are still so.There is also a flow of workers,expats and students who either increase or decrease the density of that area 3)Construction material- construction material is first manufactured outside the city, then it flows into the city. The material is then stored in godowns before being sent to construction sites. I think there would not be a major change in food industry as the growing techniques do not permit for food to grow in city at a large scale.There may be change in density as better opportunities would be available in some other part of the city and people might move over there.Lastly, construction material would still be a flow as long as manufacturing units become mobile and the manufacturing process becomes economical.
