This photo was taken by myself in the morning and shows a power line transporting energy to the nearby city of Friedrichshafen and to the industrial zones. By the energy turnaround which is currently in progress in Germany a lot more power lines have to be built to transport green energy from the north, where the energy is generated by wind turbines to the higher industialized south. All nuclear power plants in Germany will be shut down by the end of 2022. Coal-fired power plants by the end of 2038. This means an enormous effort to expand the electricity infrastructure. Cities will benefit from this energy turnaround because they're supplied with sustainable green energy. Power lines have to be laid underground in order not to spoil the cityscape.
