Ecosystems in Khartoum, Sudan 1.Provisioning services: The Nile is essential for life in this country, it provides the region with water, fertilises the soil, subsequenly leading for vegetation and breeding.The water of Nile is also diverted for productive uses (agriculture, industry, power production). 2.Regulating services: A common Sudanese house is designed with a front yard, people grow trees and plants in their own gardens and infront of their houses, streets inside neighbours are not asphalted, which is bad for vehicles but good for cooling the environment, these habitants have a morning habit to water their plants and the soil infront their houses to keep the soil fixed, causing to cool the air and enhance the environment. 3.Habitat services: Monkeys, they live and exist profusely on the east side of the Nile, where it use to be their home for many years before people build in that area, some of the built places there preserved the natural features of the place like the large trees, where these monkeys live, 4.cultural services: The Nile mainly is where most of the recreational places occur. Furthermore, The Nile was always a center of inspiration for many artists, musicians, poets and architects for many ages.
