Biodiversity of Venezuela. Natural riches make countries fortunate. Venezuela is rich in oil, but it is also rich in other natural products, and for this reason, our country is considered megadiverse, in an expression of highlighting how rich we are in animal life, plant life and landscapes. Given the geographical location of Venezuela in the north of South America, where the influence of the Atlantic Ocean and the Caribbean Sea is received, and with the existence of great mountain ranges along our coast, in the east (in the area of the tepuyes), and in the West (on the border with Colombia), a variety of landscapes or life zones are produced, where all the species of wild fauna and flora of Venezuela are housed. At the same time, these areas of life are crossed by streams and rivers, and contain lakes and swamps, which make the country a real freshwater factory, one that is just so scarce in other regions of the planet, making it suitable for development of jungles, forests, pastures, sowings
