Challenge: waste on the street. Situation: as a big city, the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires has a considerable amount of waste production. Even though over the last years it has decreased a little bit, waste is still an issue. People sometimes do not respect the hours when they should take it out, or they even take it out while it's not recommended to (rainy days). There is another issue: the homeless tend to search for food or things they might use and leave the waste all over the place. During summer the waste generates strong smell, attracts dogs/rats/. During heavy rain, it may cover the sinks and cause flooding. Solution: the citizen can take or upload a picture and send it to the local government. The GPS will help to identify the place where the photo was taken or, the citizen can write the address (street, intersection, number, etc.). Therefore, the government can send someone to the place and clean out the waste.
