In Madagaskar the people are producing and using a lot of their own materials to build edifices. But glass and steal is imported, somtimes also some stones and concrete. In the picture you can see a building, which is made of bricks, concrete, wood, glass and corrugated sheet iron. The bricks are made in the country, so also the wood is from Madagascar. But the steal, the glass for the windows and the corrugated sheet iron for the roof is imported. That makes the building a global building.
