This photo was taken in Hong Kong, from a ferry ride across the Victoria Harbour. This night view is probably one of the most beautiful city-view in the world. By the density of the buildings, the city exhausts a great amount of electricity and energy. The buildings along the waterfront are part of presenting the Hong Kong image, and therefore, almost all buildings are lit up with amazing lighting design. The facade are animated as well with interactive lighting. The consumption of electricity and the aftermath of light pollution to the sky all have to be in consideration as the city plans for the future.
