Cruise Ships, Automobiles, and People. Each week several large cruise ships come to the port in my city and normally depart with more than 10,000 people who have come from outside the city. It is not unusual for addition 100,000 people to come into the city on weekends to visit beaches and do other tourist activities. The ships and automobiles coming into the city can be considered Stock and when they arrive and later depart they can be considered Flow. Since this has such a large part of the economy it is important to the city.
