The most important stocks and flows I can identify in Barcelona are people, density, land, information and pollution. First of all, in Barcelona there exist a lot of people as stocks, but the most important is the people there as a Flow, because os job, education, and immigration opportunities. Density is also important as a Flow because the city has been increasing exponentially the last years, for being one of the most industrialized and turistic places in Spain and Europe. The land is a stock due to its non-changing situation. Information in Barcelona is clearly a Flow because of the city's Smart functionality via smartphones, wi-fi, and glopal IoT strategy of the city. Finally pollution is also a Flow, because until now traffic has been one of the classic characteristics of Barcelona, and it produces a lot of CO2 emissions, but we are yearly updating the legislatura in order to only enter the city with electric vehicles in short time.
