I live in Dubai, UAE. The entire country is mainly a desert, with few mountainous regions. Provisioning services - this could include the desert areas because they provide sand that is used in cement and concrete mixture. Dams including the Hatta dam and the fujeira Dam provides fresh water. The gulf water is the source of seafood. Regulating services - the coastal front lands get sea breeze from the gulf. The water body also retains heat. Habitat or Supporting services - The desert provides home for drought resistant plants and animals. Cultural services - the desert attracts tourists. Recreations include desert safari, camel riding etc.
