FC-01x Future Cities (Self-Paced) - Exercise 1 : "Making the Invisible - Visible"
Uploaded on 2019-03-01 by Ric Ya
This is Charlotte, North Carolina, USA. This is a new area that was recently built. There's no data or any info with regards to understand the types of people who visit, or how much is spent. There's also no information or data with regards to how many visit the area. This area is reserved for higher income people, however, much of the area is empty. It is only populated due to the high end supermarkets, such as, Whole Foods, but outside of that, there isn't really a NEED for it since it is also located in a not so density populated location. The dangers of creating an area with out understanding the invisible data will lead to the area being deserted and people losing their jobs due to lack of sustainability of high income individuals. This has artificially increased the homes of the area, but without proper understanding of the invisible data, it will also drag the prices of homes down, in a dramatic fashion.
