Safety Economy Transportation Sanitation International connectivity 2. I live in the Black Rock neighborhood of Bridgeport, Connecticut (USA). I recently moved here in order to rent an affordable apartment (1) in a walkable neighborhood (2). I live within a reasonable commuting distance to my job (3) and I am close to a commuter rail stop (4). There are many amenities nearby that I use and enjoy (5). 3. My neighborhood ranks reasonably well on my five ideal criteria. 4. If I were mayor I would promote transit-oriented development and increased density of mixed use buildings. I would also publish all financial stocks and flows for municipal government receipts and payments for full transparency. 5. If I moved I would want to go either to a world city such as New York or London or a medium sized city with outstanding climate like San Diego. These places I would consider moving to would need to have: Safety and security Transit systems Parks and recreation Walkable neighborhoods in transit-oriented districts Economic opportunities
