I am living in Harstad, Norway. It is a small city. I am living 2kms away from the city center. The university is located 200meters away from the city center. The best mode of transport for me is bicycle. It take around 15 to 20mins to reach university on bicycle. During winter, when there there is lot of ice on pavements, I prefer to walk. It take 30 mins to reach university by walking. Sometime I find some of my colleague during the walk. I normally do not prefer to go by public transport which in this case is bus. This is due to two reasons, firstly I have to wait for a long time to wait for the bus or I have to be very punctual to reach the terminal at time. Secondly, it is not cost effective. The ticket of the bus is costly both for health and wealth. The picture above is from my house entrance door.
